The project was to modify the house and add a small extension to a prewar semi detached home. The property had a triangular garden with a large unused space to the side of the house and a small cramped kitchen. As the design progressed, the client decided to extend the property within the unused space. This created a much larger family room and retained the existing rear living room with access to the garden.
